AU Tax Technology and Transformation (TT&T) Analyst

Deloitte is hiring for the role of AU Tax Technology and Transformation (TT&T) Analyst! Responsibilities of the Candidate: • Participate in requirements analysis • Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases (schemas, tables, views, stored procedures). • Optimize queries and database structures for performance and scalability. • Oversee data integrity, security, and compliance. • Build and document APIs to expose or consume data from SQL Server and other systems. • Integrate external data sources through API connections. • Ensure secure and efficient data flows between platforms. • Connect Tableau to SQL Server and various data sources via APIs. • Design, build, and maintain intuitive Tableau dashboards and reports for business users. • Perform data blending, transformation, and advanced visualization techniques in Tableau. • Work with business users to gather requirements and translate them into actionable analytics solutions. • Develop and automate ETL pipelines using SQL Server tools (e.g., SSIS) or scripting to prepare data for analytics. • Monitor and troubleshoot data flow issues. • Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and application developers. • Provide technical support for databases, API, and Tableau environments. • Create and maintain documentation for solutions delivered. Requirements: • Advanced T-SQL and experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016+ preferred) • Strong API development, testing, and documentation experience • Significant expertise in Tableau: designing dashboards, data source management, calculated fields, and interactivity • Familiarity with data security, authentication, and compliance best practices • Troubleshooting abilities • Good communication skills • Self-starter with solid analytical and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of Python or R for data preparation or automation • Experience with other BI tools (Power BI) • Willingness to work extra hours to meet deliverables • Coordinate with other software professionals and developers • SQL Server, APIs, and Tableau • BE/B.Tech., M.C.A., M.Sc. Comp Sc. • Work experience: 1.5 3 Years
